How accurate is
FutureRIP SE?
Very. After
all that's what a RIP is all about.
We've also allowed for artwork where
color accuracy isn't all that important
but obtaining brilliant and vibrant
colors are - We let you get the best out
of your printer no matter what the
application or circumstance with
ColorTUNE. The program
is packed with advanced features and
tools for those who need them or it's as
easy to use as a load the artwork and
press 'RIP Now' program.
Will
FutureRIP work with my printer?
FutureRIP works with all the popular
brands of printers such as Canon, DGI,
Encad, Epson, HP, Mutoh and Roland etc.
and we are continuously adding new makes
and models to the list. If you can't see
your printer listed, don't be concerned
as it's probably supported, and if not -
get
in touch with us and we'll get
straight to work on it. Note, some
brands use proprietary emulation codes
that would take years for us to reverse
engineer (basically they want you to use
their high-priced software). So if
you're in the market for a Large Format
Printer - talk to us first before making
your decision for some straight advice.
How
do I get my artwork into FutureRIP SE?
Easy! FutureRIP comes with
FuturePRINT... This utility captures
your artwork from most third party
programs like CorelDRAW™ and Photoshop™
and then loads the artwork straight into
FutureRIP. The program also loads in
over 30 image formats like BMP, JPG, TIF,
GIF and TGA along with EMF Layers which
can include vectors such as fonts and
clipart.
Can
FutureRIP SE do Contour Cutting?
Absolutely! In fact this is one of
FutureRIP's greatest strengths. If you have a printer/cutter, you can use a combination of the
program's scanning and import facilities to
layout your work and
then print it out and then cut a contour
around it. FutureRIP also has a fantastic
Auto-Trace feature - you'll be
impressed.
Can
FutureRIP SE Target Spot Colors?
Yes. FutureRIP allows you to select
a color in any given artwork and then
choose what color you'd like the program
to print the color out as. You can even
target color charts like Pantone™, Toyo™,
Trumatch™ and Munsell™ along with the actual ink,
ribbon or toner colors from your printer
for the most saturated colors
possible.
As
an added bonus you can also print out
FutureRIP Color Charts, that allow you
to specify any color in the chart and
then know that whenever targeting that
color, that's exactly the color you'll
get - every time without fail. Imagine
knowing for sure what colors will print
out - sure beats guesswork.
